This website served like a light bulb of sorts for me.
It made me think - and ponder on - whether or not style is still present among us skating aficionados. Do you think skateboarders of today still care about how they look? Or is the name of the game purely skateboarding skills?
Need your thoughts!

Is it a work of art or something else?
February 20th, 2008 · No Comments
Can you call broken skateboards nailed to trees and sneakers hanging from their limbs works of art? This very same question has been and is still a big issue in Fayetteville.
Apparently, the said city’s Board of Adjustment says it’s hardly a work of art. Instead, they think that it’s even an illegal sign!
Voting 4-1 Monday, […]

BLOOD ON ICE!!!
Did anybody watch what happened to Slovakian forward Richard Zednik of the Florida Panthers yesterday?
The famous skater took a nasty cut on the Sunday’s game against Buffalo. Who would even think that Olli Jokinen, one of his teammates, would even be the one who’ll hurt him?
Zednik’s neck got sliced - get that […]

Hence, because this one’s groundbreaking (ahem), then perhaps you guys can at least be more forgiving when I say that this […]

Opinion poll: should you be 15 at least or not?
January 29th, 2008 · No Comments
The news about skaters required to be at least fifteen (15) years old before they can “formally” compete is getting the ire of a lot of bloggers, especially those who are very passionate about the issue. Can’t blame them, though…I mean take the case of Mirai Nagasu, for instance. Nagasu’s the new champion of U.S. […]

Tony Hawk — second placer?
January 8th, 2008 · No Comments
Here’s some fun stuff about our favorite pro skater for y’all.
According to a post in his official website, skater Tony Hawk only placed SECOND (gasp!) somewhere, somehow in his early years. This trophy reportedly proves it all:
Well, it only goes to show that even the best of the best also had bad days, you know? […]
